Every year, the Swiss Fleet Owners Association (sffv) honors the best fleet brand. In 2018, Toyota receives the coveted prize. The award is given to the brand that receives the most points in the sffv member survey.

The survey covers a wide range of aspects, from the range of vehicles on offer to the support provided by the dealer. For example, the price/performance ratio, the quality of information, offers for fleets or whether current models are available for test drives are evaluated.

From 3rd place forward to 1st place
The quality of the dealer network as well as the vehicle warranty and its handling are also assessed. After coming third in 2017, the Japanese brand distributed by Toyota AG in Safenwil won ahead of Renault Suisse SA and BMW (Schweiz) AG.

Radek Kubelka, Toyota AG's fleet manager, was delighted to receive the certificate.

Radek Kubelka: "At Toyota, we always strive to provide the customer with optimum and personal support. I am very pleased that this has now been recognized in this way. But this is also an incentive for the next year. We will do everything we can to improve further."

Strong growth thanks to hybrid technology
Toyota has been able to make strong gains in the fleet segment in recent years, thanks in part to hybrid technology. In 2017, Toyota's fleet share in Switzerland was 41.8%.

If the customer can choose between hybrid and conventional drive, the majority will opt for the hybrid variant. For a typical fleet vehicle, the Toyota Auris, more than 80% of customers opted for the full hybrid system in 2017.
