Toyota: These are the trucks of the future 🎥
FOR ALL CASES At the Japan Mobility Show between Oct. 26 and Nov. 5, Toyota will showcase the IMV 0 multi-purpose pickup truck and the Kayoibako all-electric panel van concept, among others.
The pick-up Toyota IMV 0 is up for a lot. The Innovative Multi-purpose Vehicle 0 (IMV 0) is based on a pick-up-like concept vehicle. This is one of a series of multi-purpose vehicles to be launched in more than 180 markets. It can be adapted to individual needs and tasks - for commercial areas as well as for leisure activities.
The body parts can be securely bolted to the cargo area. At the trade fair stand in Tokyo, for example, coffee from the mobility café is served from the rear of the extended IMV 0. In addition, Toyota also presents the ideas of customers who want to realize their dream with the IMV 0.
Individual needs
The compact Kayoibako concept vehicle (center gallery) is versatile and thus points the way to the mobility of the future. The body can be adapted to individual needs, as can the software and hardware inside. In the commercial sector, the all-electric vehicle can be used locally emission-free and almost silently in last-mile logistics transport. With the installation of product shelves, the Kayoibako can also be transformed into a rolling store if desired, bringing groceries or other goods directly to the customer. Alternatively, additional seats turn the model into a shuttle bus. Private users can use it to create their own personal vehicle.
Extensions as desired
The IMV 0 is a two-seater with a wheelbase of 3.09 meters, a length of 5.30 meters and a height of 1.74 meters. Significantly shorter but even taller is the Kayoibako, which measures 3.99 meters in length and 1.86 meters in height. Toyota's trade show appearance is themed "Let's Change the Future of Cars - Find Your Future."
