FOR ALL CASE With the Cross version of the successful Corolla, Toyota brings the fifth generation of the self-charging hybrid system, AWD-i all-wheel drive for safe driving, and new assistance systems.
With the fifth generation of Toyota's hybrid technology, the SUV has become even more powerful and efficient. The 1.8-liter version (140 hp) is always combined with front-wheel drive, while the two-liter (197 hp) offers the combination with intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD-i) through a 30-kW electric motor on the rear axle.
New 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
The luggage compartment, which holds a lot of stowage, is easily accessible thanks to the wide-opening tailgate and the low loading sill of 72 centimeters. Its volume of 396 liters can be increased to 1359 liters by folding down the rear seat backrests.
The new Corolla Cross is also the first model to offer Toyota's new, fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, which can be personalized in content and displays. There is also the new Smart Connect multimedia and infotainment system as standard, with a fast-response 10.5-inch touchscreen, access to Connected Services and easy smartphone integration.
Top version with semi-autonomous parking system
The Corolla's Safety Sense system includes optimized pre-collision system performance. In city traffic, for example, it warns early enough of head-on collisions with oncoming vehicles, and at intersections it detects oncoming traffic in two lanes. Vehicles or bicycles suddenly turning in from the side can also be detected, and the T-Mate functions make driving and parking safer.
The top version is equipped with the semi-autonomous parking system, which allows the vehicle to maneuver into the parking space with the help of twelve panoramic view cameras and twelve ultrasonic sensors. All the driver has to do is operate the gearshift.
