Tesla: Swiss Car of the Year 2020

For the ninth time, Schweizer Illustrierte and its partners AutoScout24, Blick, SonntagsBlick, L'illustré and il caffè were looking for the "Swiss Car of the Year".

46 Novelties in the evaluation
In the two main categories of the largest cross-linguistic car poll, 46 current innovations competed for the favor of the jury and the public. Expert juries chose "The Swiss Car of the Year," "The Most Stylish Car in Switzerland" and "The Greenest Car in Switzerland. In addition, around 17,000 votes were cast in the nationwide poll for "Switzerland's Favorite Car.

Electric sedan completes hat trick
The members of the twelve-strong jury of experts chose the Model 3 from the American electric car pioneer Tesla as the "Swiss Car of the Year 2020". The battery-electric sedan also came out on top in the public vote for "The Swiss' Favorite Car. The hat trick was completed by the Tesla Model 3 in the vote for "Switzerland's greenest car," in which it also won the title.
