What goes on inside a hoop is shown in this video in a particularly impressive way.
The Youtube channel "Warped Perception" (means distorted perception) regularly takes its viewers into the world of technology and science. Their creators also conduct experiments.
Among other things, they specialize in high-speed camera films, in which they show everything at a greatly slowed pace - an Indycar pit stop, for example, or a dog drinking water.
Matt Mikka let the car's tire spin until it exploded.
GoPro camera on the rim bed
Recently, Matt Mikka and his team mounted a GoPro camera on the rim of a tire and mounted the tire over it. Mikka then took the car for a few brisk laps around a closed-off track.
The camera recorded what happens inside the tire while driving. Also on view is the tire assembly - for once from the other perspective.
... that's what happens when you drive a vehicle through potholes and over thresholds.
