Thierry Burkart on his resignation: "After around ten years at the helm of the Aargau section, a change of leadership is in order. I will of course remain loyal to the TCS and continue to advocate multimodal mobility that guarantees citizens the free choice of means of transportation."

Successful positioning of the club
Thierry Burkart has made a decisive contribution to the development of TCS. Among other things, the current management structure is due to his conceptual work.
As Chairman of the Political Committee, Thierry Burkart has contributed in recent years to the successful positioning of the TCS in the decisive votes on the increase in the vignette price, the second Gotthard road tunnel, the National Roads and Agglomeration Transport Fund and, last but not least, the Federal Decree on Bicycles.
