Instead of being held in the halls of Bernexpo, the vocational championships will be decentralized as the SwissSkills Championships....
Preliminary round on the first day
The Swiss automotive industry will crown its Swiss champion from September 10 to 12 at Mobilcity in Bern.
The preliminary competition scheduled for July will not take place and will instead be held on the first day of the professional championship.
Qualification for the EuroCup2020
The apprentices can not only compete for the title of Swiss champion. The three medal winners qualify for the EuroCup 2020 in Dresden.
And one of this trio will travel to the WorldSkills 2021 in Shanghai next year. Aspiring automotive mechatronics technicians born in 1999 and younger can still register for the vocational championship on the autoberufe.ch website.
Digital interaction platform
To provide these young people with the best possible support in the career choice process, SwissSkills is building a digital interaction platform. The platform is designed to bring students into contact with young professionals.
The young people are to be taught the passion for their professions by the best professional talents, including the SwissSkills Ambassadors, and to be inspired. The launch is scheduled for the beginning of September.
