Exclusion of the public
In an elimination competition on Thursday, September 10, the best twelve candidates will qualify for the semi-final on Friday, September 11. The best six candidates will qualify for the final on Saturday, September 12.

The professional championships will probably be held in private - a live broadcast via social media (Facebook and Instagram) is currently being clarified. The planned preliminary competition in July will not be held or will be replaced by the qualification on September 10.

Qualification for the EuroCup 2020
The apprentices can not only compete for the title at the SwissSkills Championships 2020, but the three medal winners also qualify for the EuroCup 2020 in Dresden. The best of this trio secures a ticket to the WorldSkills 2021 in Shanghai.

School classes that had planned to visit SwissSkills 2020 will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in Switzerland's professional diversity via digital means.

Digital solutions are currently being tested that enable young people of career choice age to interact with professionals, for example via live chat options with professionals from over 100 professions and in three languages.

Registrations must be received by the office no later than June 19, 2020.
