The Palexpo halls welcomed nearly 1000 refined vehicles last weekend. 600 owners exhibited their motorized jewels in the indoor meeting, while a total of 400 conversions were on display in the Custom Village and in the Club and Exhibitor areas. The TOP Awards jury members crowned the most beautiful conversions with 72 trophies.
Full program
An exciting program alternated rides with shows and let visitors experience well-known freestyle and stunt greats live. 300 visitors had the opportunity to sit in the passenger seat during the drift demonstrations. The 17 professional racing drivers did not spare any skidding maneuvers and thrilled the audience with smoking tires. But the drift trike test drives also invited visitors to explore. The electric and gasoline-powered tricycles were enjoyed by young and old alike.
Stunt action
The professional riders also provided the whole weekend for applause. On two and four wheels, the FMX and stunt stars showed jumps and figures in all variations. The audience will remember for a long time the shows of Ales Rozmann - he performed for the first time in Switzerland -, Arrepiado or Fatgregg on his Harley Davidson.
Premieres
Two novelties this year were on the one hand the entertainment with the "big show" on Saturday evening: from sunset until 10 pm there were drift FMX and stunt shows on the outside area. In addition, for the first time at the Swiss Car Event, there was a "Corner of Fame". Fans and onlookers could (re)discover the trends of yesterday and tomorrow!
