Suzuki twice best in class

SUZUKI Swift and Ignis are the most environmentally friendly cars in their class. This was the result of the recently published Environmental List 2017 of the VCS. Suzuki took first place twice in the current VCS environmental list with its Ignis and Swift models.

In the recently published VCS environmental list, Suzuki was twice best in class. The Suzuki Swift wins there among the most environmentally friendly small cars. In the category "all-wheel drive vehicles" Suzuki even celebrates a double victory with the Swift and the new Ignis. With a consumption of just 4.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 98 g/km, the Swift came first in the "small cars" category, ahead of the Nissan Micra and the Toyota Yaris.

Also a leader in all-wheel drive
In the all-wheel-drive category, the Swift and the new Ignis (mild hybrid), which consumes just 4.3 l/100 km and has CO2 emissions of 97 g/km, are double winners. The two Suzuki cars beat the Lexus NX 300h Hybrid, which takes third place here.

Compact and environmentally friendly
Stefan Gass, Managing Director Suzuki Automobile Schweiz AG on the top rankings: "We are very pleased with the awards. The list proves that Suzuki is on trend with its compact and environmentally friendly vehicles and that we are also leading the way in terms of consumption with innovative engines."
