The most important function is the automatic emergency call, which is activated after an accident as soon as a restraint system has been triggered. The vehicle then establishes a voice and data connection to an emergency call center and transmits all the necessary data. The emergency call can also be triggered manually via a button in the roof module.
Remote access possible
In addition, remote access to the vehicle is now also possible. Among other things, the smartphone displays whether the windows and doors are closed or whether the lights are switched off. The Parking Position function shows the vehicle's location, and the Honk & Flash function makes it easier to find the car by activating the horn and flashing lights.
Smart apps
With the " SmartLink+" system on board, the Superb now offers additional options for networking between the vehicle and smartphone. The system brings apps from the areas of navigation, infotainment and communication from the cell phone into the car and also makes vehicle data available for evaluation on the smartphone.
Assistants
The standard Park Distance Control system not only warns the driver with visual and acoustic signals, but also brakes the vehicle automatically if necessary. According to the manufacturer, the Superb's character as a comfortable touring vehicle is further strengthened with the new equipment range, which includes further features such as improved noise insulation.
