Suisse Caravan Salon: Preview for next summer 🎥
WHERE TO MEET Under the motto "Everything to discover the world", the Suisse Caravan Salon offers innovations from well-known brands and plenty of action until October 31, 2022.
This year, the exhibition area of the popular public fair was expanded and now covers around 30,000 square meters, distributed over six halls, two tent halls and the outdoor area. Also this year, a wide variety of trends and innovations await an interested audience.
Exhibition manager Mario Kovacevic: "This year there are even more exhibitors than last year. In addition, we have various world firsts in the motorhome and caravan sector at the start."
Swiss importers show new vans
Mercedes-Benz demonstrates through modular installation systems how not only a bed but also any board can be accommodated in a premium van. Whether with a new variant of the Marco Polo luxury camper (gallery left) or with an even more compact version of the new T-Class with camping module - every trip can be made comfortable.
VW Commercial Vehicles is presenting the complete California family: starting with the Caddy California Spirit Maxi through various California 6.1 models to the 680 version of the Grand California. Two highlights on the stand are the Multivan with a plug-in hybrid drive and the new ID. Buzz (gallery on the right).
One year after the launch of the Citroën Space Tourer Camper with rear kitchen now follows the model extension. The popular camper is now available with a side kitchen. Thanks to this modular side kitchen and the removable seats, the vehicle adapts to virtually all personal needs. AutoSprintCH reported.
Renault presents its innovative Renault Hippie Caviar Motel (center gallery) and the new edition of the Renault SpaceNomad Camper. The Hippie Caviar conveys a desire to travel at first glance. The show car based on the new Renault Kangoo Van L2 E-Tech Electric is a mobile accommodation for adventurers and sports enthusiasts.
Useful information and camping award
A particularly popular program item at the Suisse Caravan Salon are the lectures. This year, among other things, there will be information on various travel destinations as well as on topics such as gas or solar power. Visitors will also learn how to take really good travel photos. In addition, the Camping Award will be presented for the second time. The top campsites in Switzerland will be honored.
Food zone, driving course, off-road and four-wheel drive
On the open-air site, various suppliers from the off-road and all-wheel-drive segment will be showing off their wares. In addition, the outdoor area scores with a versatile food zone, a driving course and various bike offers. As every year, there will also be a wide range of accessories and tourist offers at the Suisse Caravan Salon 2022.
Ticket discounts when arriving by public transport
Due to the limited number of parking spaces, we recommend arriving by public transport. Those arriving by train, bus or streetcar will receive a 30 percent discount on admission. More information is available on the SBB website.
