Stellantis: Jeep and Ram come as electric vehicles
FUTURE Stellantis also wants to offer only electric cars in Europe from the next decade. In the U.S., where the group's Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Ram brands are at home, every second car is to be electric by 2030.
Stellantis also wants to rely on fuel cells for large delivery trucks. The first such vehicle is due to be launched on the US market in 2025. The first fully electric Jeep has been announced for next year. So far, Jeep has only produced one study on the subject of BEVs, based on the Wrangler.
Climate-neutral company by 2038
Group CEO Carlos Tavares (gallery, right): "We plan to have more than 75 BEVs on the market by 2030 and achieve annual global sales of five million battery electric vehicles."
In its strategic plan "Dare Forward 2030," Stellantis also states its goal to be carbon neutral as a company and to produce by 2038. .
Electric version of the Ram 1500 pickup
For the U.S., Stellantis also announced an electric version of the Ram 1500 pickup (gallery at left) and a concept electric muscle car from Dodge.
And: In Europe, only electric vehicles from the brand will be newly launched on the market from 2026 onwards, and by the end of the decade, the Group aims to sell a third of its vehicles via online channels
