As before, a 2-liter gasoline engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine are available as drive variants. Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive can be freely combined with manual or automatic transmission. New features include the front-end design and the dashboard. Market launch is in July. Prices start unchanged at 22,190 Swiss francs.
In addition, the manufacturer is presenting the XAVL Concept study, which stands for "eXciting Authentic Vehicle Long SUV", as a world premiere in Geneva. The XAVL is a further development of the XAV Concept presented at the IAA Frankfurt in 2015. The design is inspired by the classic Korando model from the 1990s.
The XAVL comfortably seats seven occupants and shows the vision of a connected vehicle with digital displays. It is also equipped with several new safety assistants for pedestrians, drivers and passengers. The XAVL is available as a gasoline engine and as a new diesel with clean burning.
