Modern and classic vehicles for any purpose are in good hands with Sportec.

The company from Höri ZH has been active in Switzerland in the field of modern vehicle optimization since 1997. Sportec looks back on a history of multiple award-winning in-house developments and world records in the field of performance enhancement.

Sporting chief
The rebranding follows a change in management. Last year, Gregor Burkard joined the company as its new owner and managing director. The direction of travel under him is clear.

Gregor Burkard: "A new era is beginning at Sportec. My vision is to make Sportec a leading Swiss supplier in the fields of motorsport, performance enhancement, vehicle conversions and classic Porsches."

For the long-time Sportec customer and successful Porsche club sportsman himself, the new brand identity is a reflection of the changes that are taking place internally, together with the company's long-standing and competent employees.

Own label for Classic division
In addition to the main focus on the optimization as well as the complete conversion of Porsche and Audi vehicles with racing character, great emphasis is also placed on classics.

With "Sportec Classics", the classic department, which specializes in restorations and maintenance in addition to complete new and rebuilt Porsches, also receives its own label.

First championship title under Marcel Fässler
Racing is also a tradition at Sportec. The in-house racing team, which was able to sign up racing pro Marcel Fässler, who retired from active racing, as team manager last year, is also getting a new look with "Sportec Racing".

The Sportec team already celebrated winning the 2021 GT2 European Series title with Christoph Ulrich (below center) and Marcel Fässler (below right).

The first successes are already emerging. For example, Christoph Ulrich was able to secure the overall victory in the GT2 European Series in the AM class ahead of schedule on the KTM X-Bow entered by Sportec.

Sportec has positioned itself as the sole point of purchase for the distribution of the new KTM GTX and GT2 models in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Open house
Those who would like to gain an insight into the multifaceted world of Sportec will already have the opportunity to do so on September 11. Sportec opens its doors for an Open House Day, where you can take a look at the exclusive projects, the test bench and the team in person and get to know them. After that, no question about performance optimization should remain unanswered.
