The future VW Competence Center will offer trading and service for the Volkswagen brand, a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Center, service for the Audi brand, a bodywork and paint center, and a used vehicles center. The canton of Lucerne is of great importance to AMAG. In the heart of Switzerland, it is already present at the Ebikon, Emmen, Emmenbrücke, Kriens, Rain and Sursee locations.

Near freeway
The new regional Volkswagen competence center is being built in the immediate vicinity of the Buchrain highway exit. It is intended to complement the plants in Emmen, Kriens and Sursee. The Ebikon, Emmenbrücke and Rain sites will be closed. Most of the employees at these three sites will work at the new AMAG Buchrain, the remainder in Sursee or Emmen.

Service and trading company Volkswagen PW
With 888 m², the showroom of the VW dealership has sufficient space for the extensive range of Volkswagen PW vehicles. The architecture will be in line with VW's corporate design- Of course, AMAG Buchrain will also offer all repairs and complementary services of the brand.

VW Commercial Vehicles Center
Buchrain will also be home to a VW Commercial Vehicles Center. After Uster, Grenchen, Muttenz and Givisiez, it is the fifth of these specialized centers in Switzerland. The center has an exhibition area of 237 m² and, together with the outdoor area, enables the presentation of the entire VW commercial vehicle range. Separated from the passenger car area, a clear specialization is achieved. Sales and advice on transport solutions, new and used vehicles (including set-up and conversion solutions), service and repair will take place here.

Bodywork and paint center
The new site also has a state-of-the-art body and paint center, where not only passenger cars but also commercial vehicles can be repaired and painted due to the generous dimensions.

Audi Service and Used Cars Center
Services and repairs for Audi brand vehicles are also offered. A large used car center under the "Das WeltAuto." brand complements the offering. Michael Grossniklaus, who already manages AMAG Ebikon and AMAG Emmenbrücke, will be the future managing director of the new location. AMAG Buchrain will employ a total of 130 people, including 20 apprentices.
