The handover was carried out by Spezialisten Franz AG in Wettswil ZH and Amag Basel. The new Octavia Combi, including some with environmentally friendly natural gas drive, replace part of swisspro's fleet of around 500 vehicles and expand the fleet with now 250 vehicles.
Significantly lower operating costs
The main factors in the choice of vehicle were space, price and performance, maintenance costs and comfort. Sustainability also played a role: part of the total fleet of 250 vehicles can run on natural gas as fuel.
By running on natural gas (CNG), CO2 emissions are reduced by around 25 percent compared with gasoline operation, and there are also significantly fewer nitrogen oxides (NOx) and no soot particles.
And last but not least: you can travel economically.
