The new Skoda Kodiaq Scout is presented at the Geneva International Motor Show.

Visual features include silver-colored design elements, a striking silver underride guard at the front and rear, and dark-tinted rear and rear side windows. The radiator grille is framed by a silver-colored frame. The roof rails, the housings of the exterior mirrors and the surrounds of the side windows are in the same color. The 19-inch alloy wheels specially created for the Scout are also designed to exude power. Two gasoline and two diesel engines are available and each is combined with all-wheel drive. Output ranges from 110 kW (150 hp) to 140 kW (190 hp).

With a length of 4.70 meters, up to seven seats and the largest interior or luggage space in its class, the Skoda Kodiaq has celebrated a much-acclaimed premiere. The Scout comes standard with an off-road assistant, a bad-road package with underbody and engine protection, and front and rear parking assist. Standard equipment also includes driving profile selection (Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, Snow), which can be used to influence the control of the engine, automatic transmission, power steering and air conditioning. Snow mode adjusts the operation of the ABS, ASR, ACC (if fitted) and engine management systems to the special conditions of snowy or slippery roads.

Inside, the package includes a multifunction steering wheel, LED ambient lighting in ten colors, a modular infotainment system (MIB) with eight speakers, Alcantara-trimmed seats with Kodiaq logo, door panels in Alcantara decor, steel pedals, textile floor mats, and the Kodiaq logo in the front door sill panels.

The specifications for Switzerland (prices, availability, engine range, options) are currently not yet known.
