The Skoda Octavia G-TEC is powered by a 1.4 TSI turbo engine with an output of 110 hp. The engine is bivalent - it can run on natural gas and gasoline. The start-stop system and technology for brake energy recovery (recuperation) are standard.

In natural gas mode alone, the model can travel up to 410 kilometers without refueling. Consumption is 5.3 m³ of natural gas per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to emissions of 94 g/km CO2. In gasoline-only mode, the range is up to 920 kilometers. This means that the Octavia G-TEC covers a total of up to 1330 kilometers on just one tank of gas.
