Enyaq iV
Škoda provides Pope Francis with the Enyaq iV, which was equipped according to the Vatican's wishes.

To make it easier to see the head of the church, clear glass windows in the rear of the vehicle replace the standard tinted side windows. On the front fender, on the passenger side, there are chrome standard holders for the Vatican flag, and the exterior mirror housings are adorned with the official logo of the papal visit.

For a more comfortable exit from the vehicle, an additional handle was also added at the request of the Vatican. Both vehicles are painted in black metallic and have a black interior.

Website for greetings to the pontiff
In addition, two Škoda Karoq cars will accompany the pontiff on his journey. People from all over the world can send words of greeting to the pontiff via a website specially set up by the car manufacturer (see below).

With the help of augmented reality, all greeting messages received are displayed on a virtual 3-D model of the SUV directly online or on a real Enyaq iV. All that is required is to access the website and point the tablet or smartphone at the vehicle.

This is the second time Pope Francis has traveled in a Škoda. During his two-day visit to Ireland as part of the 2018 World Meeting of Families in Dublin, he had four Rapid Spacebacks at his disposal.
