No matter what tasks are required of the van, with the Crafter VW (almost) always has the right configuration to offer. There is a choice of three wheelbases - long, medium-length and long plus - three roof heights for the panel van as well as single and double cab as chassis for individual bodies.
Crafter with electric drive on sale at the end of the year
Powerful and economical front-, rear- or all-wheel drive can each be combined with the 6-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed automatic. All Crafters are powered by the 1968-cm3 four-cylinder common-rail direct-injection engine with diesel particulate filter and SCR catalyst, producing between 102 and 177 hp. The electrically powered VW Crafter should be available by the end of the year.
With "Swiss Champion", Volkswagen Switzerland introduced a program for frequently chosen, ready-to-use complete solutions, assembled by Swiss vehicle bodybuilders. These include tippers, box bodies with lifting platform, flatbed bodies and fixed bridges.
