Team Ostschweiz won "The Clean Rally" with natural gas/biogas at the Auto Basel trade fair and can each look forward to a Seat Leon TGI. Thierry Grünberger from Zurich and Patrick Ritch from Kloten prevailed in a three-day rally against teams from the Basel area, Ticino, Canton Zug and French-speaking Switzerland. The aim of the competition was to emit as little CO2 as possible on the route from Zurich, Parma, Lerici and Martigny to Basel. The two full-time pilots achieved the best result:
