In 1983, Ron AG was founded in Switzerland as the development center of the Ronal Group in order to bundle design, toolmaking and prototype production in one place. The previous workshop was built at the beginning of the 1980s and occupied by Ron AG in 1984.
Improvement of operational processes
Martin Wyss, Managing Director of Ron AG: "With the new toolmaking hall, the Ronal Group is taking an important step towards improving the spatial infrastructure and thus the operational processes and being able to meet both current and future space requirements."
Park-like landscape in planning
The new tool shop building will have a production area of 4900 square meters and an office wing with 700 square meters for a total of around 85 employees. The open space between the administration building and the new factory building will be designed like a park-like landscape. Inauguration and occupation of the new building are planned for mid-2020.
