The Ronal Group, headquartered in Härkingen, aims to further strengthen its position as a technology leader in light alloy wheels and is therefore bundling all research and development activities in a specially established innovation center. Optimization of product properties
Research areas will include the optimization of materials and product properties as well as the conservation of resources through more efficient and new production processes. In all projects, the wheel manufacturer is aiming for close cooperation with customers, suppliers and universities, but also with the Landau production plant, which is located in the immediate vicinity.
Laboratory, workshop and a test hall
In addition to various offices and conference rooms on four floors, the new Innovation Center building will also have a flexible test hall with 1,500 square meters, a laboratory, and a metal and electrical workshop. Ronal is already present in Forst with an administration building and, since 2016, with a logistics center. The inauguration and occupation of the new building are planned for the end of 2019.
