The brand thus continues to make a significant contribution to the BMW Group's business results. At the same time, the world's leading luxury brand is enjoying unprecedented demand for customized versions. Another particular highlight in 2018 was the launch of the new Cullinan, the Rolls-Royce of SUVs.
Phantom is the brand's bestseller
North America remained the company's largest market in 2018. Over the course of the year, however, sales grew in all regions across the entire model range. The Phantom was a key growth driver, accompanied by the Coupe Wraith and Convertible Dawn.
The Cullinan has redefined the luxury SUV segment. The first units were delivered to customers just in time for Christmas. Current orders extend into the second half of 2019.
To meet the growing demand, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars hired 200 new employees in 2018.
