Renault: Zoe and Kangoo Z.E. at the top

The start to the new year paints an equally positive picture. In January 2019, Renault sold 122 new Zoe vehicles in Switzerland, more than twice as many as its nearest competitor among 100 percent electrically powered passenger cars. And with 112 newly registered Kangoo Z.E., the brand is also doing well in commercial vehicles.
The 2018 sales figures for 100 percent electrically powered passenger cars in Switzerland show the Renault Zoe at the top of this segment for the first time, with 908 registered vehicles and a market share of 17.8 percent.
Good prospects for the future
Olivier Wittmann, Managing Director of Renault Suisse SA: "We are proud to have achieved the position of the best-selling electric car in Switzerland in 2018 with the Zoe and the best-selling e-transporter in 2018 with the Kangoo Z.E.. The fact that Renault, as the European market leader in electromobility, is now also at the top in Switzerland, I take as a clear sign that electromobility has arrived in a broader segment of the population. And the January figures also show that development is continuing."
Free test drives from March
Strong 2018 and record results in January 2019.
The cantonal statistics for 2018 also provide an interesting insight into the use of electric vehicles. In the canton of Zurich alone, Renault was able to sell the Zoe 170 times, followed by Aargau (75), St. Gallen (67), Bern (66) and Vaud (63).
Tip: Test drives can be booked online from mid-March 2019 and allow free use of a vehicle for 24 hours.
