Stromer from Paris is a bestseller
Renault has been focusing on electromobility since 2011 and now has an attractive model range with the Zoe, Kangoo Z.E., Twizy and Master Z.E. models. The French company's bestseller is the Renault Zoe.
In the first half of 2020 alone, Zoe sales in Europe increased by 50 percent to over 37,500 units, making the speedster once again Europe's best-selling electric car in the first six months of 2020.
With 1154 registrations (first half of 2019: 774), the electric car was once again the best-selling electric car among the volume brands in Switzerland. Zoe sales thus increased by 49% in the first six months of the year compared to the previous year.
Now the hybrids are rolling onto the starting line
Renault will continue its electric offensive in the second half of the year. The Captur plug-in hybrid, the Mégane plug-in hybrid and the Clio hybrid are currently being launched in Switzerland.
In addition, the new all-electric Twingo Z.E. will be launched at the end of 2020. By 2022, the Renault Group plans to expand its global range to eight all-electric and twelve electrified models.
