Every year, the prestigious competition rewards excellence in product and brand design and communication on a global scale. A jury of 50 international experts selects products in almost fifty categories - including fashion, accessories, furnishings and vehicles.
Enthusiasm for the beauty from Maserati
Maserati design chief Klaus Busse: "It is a great honor for us to receive this coveted award. It recognizes the work of an entire team that has worked hard on this project."
Designed at Centro Stile Maserati in Turin, the MC20 supercar is a perfect blend of elegance and sportiness. The focus on performance resulted in a car with a distinct personality, whose refined aerodynamics and unmistakable lines make it unique.
Every design detail is purposeful, the butterfly doors are not only stunningly beautiful, but they also improve the ergonomics of the vehicle.
Production at the historic main plant in Modena
Developed by the Maserati Innovation Lab and built at the historic headquarters in Modena, the Maserati MC20 is a 100 percent Italian product.
A car that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 325 km/h with its 630 hp V6 Nettuno engine. The patented engine was developed entirely by Maserati. It is based on the pre-chamber combustion process derived from F1 engines.
Points galore for trio from Honda
The new Honda Jazz and Jazz Crosstar hybrid models and the Forza 750 scooter also won Red Dot Awards in the product design category.

Technology and design at the service of people
The Jazz e:HEV and Jazz Crosstar models are in line with Honda's goal of converting all new European models to electrified powertrains by 2022. The design of the Jazz follows the development principle 'More man, less machine', according to which technology and design should be solely at the service of the driver and passengers. The SUV-look Crosstar variant is intended to further strengthen the appeal of this model and is aimed at customers who maintain an active lifestyle.
Sleek front design and slim rear section
With the launch of the Forza 750, Honda crowned the popular Forza model series in the fall of 2020, which is intended to approach the "GT" in terms of comfort and road presence. The new Forza comes with a design that offers sufficient legroom as well as good wind protection even at higher speeds and convinces with good aerodynamics thanks to a sleek front-end design and the slim rear section.
