At the start of the new outdoor season, various events will be held on this topic at TCS campsites. No safety checks are prescribed for liquid gas installations in Switzerland. The owners of the campers, caravans or barbecue facilities are responsible for the condition of the installations. In order to increase the safety of gas installations, TCS, in cooperation with Caravaning Suisse and Vitogaz Switzerland AG, is drawing attention to voluntary self-checks. The starting signal will be given on April 16 at an open day at TCS Camping Sempach. On the same day, there will also be a preliminary event for the Bell BBQ Single Masters Series, the Swiss individual championship for amateur barbecuers. Participation is free of charge.
The other events will be held on April 29 and 30 at the campsite near Gampelen on Lake Neuchâtel and on May 20 and 21 in Salavaux. Each of these weekends will feature demonstration sessions by Vitogaz Switzerland AG on the safe handling of gas.
