TRICK WITH THE CLIP The marten repellent specialist Stop&Go presents an important innovation with a contact plate. The new version is easier and quicker to install, especially in the tightly packed engine compartments of new cars.
Marten damage is a major nuisance and often a costly affair. As the stone marten is now active all year round, professional precautions should be taken to prevent damage.
But because the engine compartments of new vehicles are becoming increasingly cramped, Stop&Go has extensively optimized the tried-and-tested double contact plate and added new features.
Shorter installation time and increased flexibility
The new clip contact plate is therefore an evolutionary step on the market that sets new standards in terms of handling, installation and reduced assembly time and ensures increased flexibility.
The new clip version can be opened with a practical folding mechanism. When the plates are then pressed together, a pin drills into the core of the cable, ensuring a high contact force and good conductivity.
Extension for particularly large engine compartments
It is now also possible to retrofit additional contact plates at any point on the high-voltage cable. There is also an extension for particularly large engine compartments. The clip version will be available for the 7 Plus Minus and 8 Plus Minus devices from spring 2022. The devices are available from well-stocked specialist dealers. Stop&Go offers a 4-year warranty.
