Just in time for the start of school in 2016, the TCS, the bfu - Swiss Council for Accident Prevention - and the police, in cooperation with municipalities and schools, are once again launching the "Bike stops, child walks" campaign. The central aim of the campaign is to get the message across to all drivers that children only cross the road when the wheels of the vehicle are stationary. Motorized road users are called upon not just to slow down at pedestrian crossings, but to stop completely.
