For example, when it was launched in 1970, the Range Rover was the first SUV with permanent all-wheel drive, followed by the first ABS in a 4×4 model in 1989.

In 1992, Land Rover debuted electronic traction control in a four-wheeler, along with electronically controlled air suspension, giving passengers that sublime driving experience for which the Briton is famous.
The Range Rover is the first SUV to feature an all-aluminum body, making it even stronger, lighter and more efficient.
