Warranty
A 2+2 guarantee, which was due to end on May 15, 2020, will be extended until August 15, 2020.

Swiss customers generally benefit from a warranty that goes beyond the two-year new vehicle warranty and is valid for an additional two years (2+2). The following therefore applies to Swiss customers: if the 2+2 warranty expires within the specified period, it is automatically extended by three months. This measure is free of charge for customers.

Reaction to the corona crisis
This is the sports car manufacturer's response to the coronavirus crisis, which has not only severely restricted the operation of many Swiss Porsche Centers since March. The solution also applies to customers who have already taken out a Porsche Approved Warranty following their 2+2 Warranty. If the Porsche Approved Warranty begins in the relevant period, it will also be extended by three months.

Unbureaucratic solution
Daniel Schukraft, Head of Aftersales at Porsche AG: "It is our aim to inspire our customers - this also includes offering convincing services, especially in difficult times. We have therefore opted for an unbureaucratic solution. Customers don't have to do anything; the Porsche Centers automatically take the extension into account."

Procedure results from reporting date
The new expiration date of the Swiss 2+2 guarantee is based on the cut-off date. For example, if this guarantee ends on March 20, 2020, the extension is valid for a further three months until June 20, 2020.
