As part of the collaboration, an international team is looking at the various aspects of urban air traffic.
The American aircraft manufacturer, Porsche and Boeing subsidiary Aurora Flight Sciences are also developing a concept for a fully electric aircraft that can take off and land vertically.
First test series of a prototype
Engineers from both companies as well as Porsche Engineering Services and Studio F.A. Porsche are working on the implementation and testing of the prototype. According to a 2018 study by Porsche Consulting, market growth is set to accelerate noticeably from 2025.
