Porsche AG really stepped on the gas with new models in 2018!
Porsche achieved the best year in its history in 2016.

Of the special payment, 8411 euros will be paid out due to the positive company result in 2016 and the exceptional performance of the workforce. There is also an additional 700 euros as a special contribution to the Porsche VarioRente or individual pension plan.

Best year ever
In the 2016 financial year, the Swabian sports car manufacturer increased deliveries by six percent to 237,778 vehicles. This resulted in a turnover of 22.3 billion euros (up four percent). At the same time, the operating result rose by 14 percent to 3.9 billion euros. The return on sales developed particularly well: from 15.8 percent (2015) to 17.4 percent. The special payment for 2016 will be paid out to around 21,000 employees, adjusted to their individual working hours and length of service with the company.

Emotional and successful
"2016 was an eventful, emotional and, above all, a successful year for Porsche. We owe this above all to our employees. They have ensured that we were able to expand our model range with further fascinating sports cars, such as the 911 Turbo and 911 R, the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman as well as the Panamera," says Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG.

Top value in the VW Group
Group Works Council Chairman Uwe Hück emphasized the successful team performance: "Negotiating the annual special payment is never easy. But this time it was particularly difficult because, after all, no one else in our large VW family gets anything near a similarly high special payment. We had to walk a fine line during the negotiations. On the one hand, the issue of Group aid is very close to my heart, with which we take on employees from Audi and Volkswagen. On the other hand, we want to reward our employees for their tremendous performance."
