Sustainability is also becoming increasingly important in tire production. Pirelli is therefore further upgrading the Cinturato product family and is now launching the new Cinturato P7.
This was developed to meet today's automotive manufacturers' requirements in terms of sustainability, mileage, rolling resistance and wet performance.
Development of efficient mobility
The Italian tire manufacturer's commitment to environmental protection is also confirmed by the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) performance certificate. This is an international non-profit organization that promotes information on environmental issues. Furthermore, Pirelli supports the evolution towards safer, cleaner and more efficient mobility with the technologies Elect (sidewall marking for tires of high-performance electric and hybrid cars), Runflat (tires with reinforced sidewall), Seal Inside (sealing layer inside the tire) and PNCS (reduction of driving noise).
Partner of the Formula 1 World Championship
Pirelli will again be present in Hall 6 at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show (March 5 to 15). The focus will be on the new Cinturato P7 and the commitment to Formula 1. Pirelli will remain Global Tyre Partner of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship until 2023. An interesting development is in store for 2021. Then the previous 13-inch tires will be replaced by 18-inchers in Formula 1.
