The Pininfarina Modulo was built on the chassis of a Ferrari 512 S and is just 93 centimeters high. To enter the two-seater, the complete module consisting of roof, front and side windows is lifted and pushed forward.
Top speed of 350 km/h
The Modulo made its debut at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show. Its 5.0-liter V12 developed 550 hp and is said to have enabled a top speed of around 350 mph.
The extraordinary study was awarded 22 international design prizes. Even today, the sports car looks like something from another star.
