Trendsetting car for all
At the same time, the new Opel Corsa completes the Autobest title hat trick with this latest award: no other model has been named "Best Buy Car of Europe" in three consecutive generations.
Opel CEO Michael Lohscheller: "We are very pleased about this award. The verdict of the independent international trade journalists from 31 countries (Markus Rutishauser of ACS Auto d.R. is there for Switzerland) shows that with the Opel Corsa we have created a forward-looking car for everyone."
Several awards in a row
Corsa generation numbers four and five already took the overall victory in 2007 and 2015; last year, the Opel Combo Life received the Autobest Award. And now the new Corsa and Corsa-e are continuing this tradition.

All Opel series electrified
Opel takes off electrically with new Corsa-e. Together with the Opel Grandland X plug-in hybrid, it marked the start of Opel's electric offensive this year.
By 2024, all Opel model series will be electrified - by then, customers will also be able to choose an e-variant for every model. The electric versions of the light commercial vehicles "on the last mile" in the inner cities will also be particularly important.
