The best in the three consumer categories
The three most stable used cars in the three most important consumer categories - city, business and SUV - made it into the final rankings for the award, which was presented for the third time. The award was given to those vehicles that, according to Eurotax market analysis, show the lowest loss in value as three-year-old used cars.
For the evaluation, only one-and-a-half to eight-year-old used cars in the price range from 5,000 to 150,000 Swiss francs, with ten to 400 days on offer and a mileage of between 5,000 and 200,000 kilometers were considered.
The best used car dealers in Switzerland
Once again, the best used car dealer in Switzerland was sought and awarded a prize. In principle, all dealers who had sold at least 100 vehicles online in the previous twelve months and pursued an appropriate pricing policy were shortlisted. The evaluation also took into account fleet management (pricing of vehicles, average price adjustments per month and listing days), sales factors (average days on offer and average price difference compared to the spot price) and a weighted combination of the number of listings and inventory turnover. Finally, the used vehicles considered had to meet specific criteria in terms of age, price, mileage and days on offer.
