In the comic tutorial of the Nürburgring GmbH, the rules of conduct for the tourist rides are explained.

With a new concept that focuses on the health of all involved, the Nürburgring will start "non-contact tourist rides" from Thursday, April 30. Since the beginning of the Corona crisis, they are the first activity that can take place in an adapted form.

Fascination since 1927
Thus, everyone again has the opportunity to drive their own car on the historic route. To ensure that this is done according to uniform rules, the road traffic regulations are mandatory.

Since its opening in 1927, the fascination of driving the Nürburgring at a brisk pace has resulted from the challenging course of the track, which demands special skill and circumspection from every professional and private driver when driving around it. In times of corona, moreover, a number of things must be observed.

Package of measures for maximum safety
Credit and tickets can only be purchased online from home on a PC or on the road with a cell phone, completely contactless. On site, access to the track is only possible with a QR code or card.

Getting out of the car is prohibited at the open access to the Nordschleife. Only the regularly disinfected WC, where the entrance is controlled, is accessible. All assigned employees, stewards and temporary staff are specially trained on the generally applicable rules of conduct in Corona times.

From the end of April, it will once again be possible to drive on the Nordschleife from here. However, some measures are necessary for this.

Maximum two people allowed per vehicle
A maximum of two people per vehicle are allowed to drive the route as part of the tourist trips, and they must have already arrived together. The driver must also keep a record of who is accompanying him at the time of the trip so that a possible chain of infection can be traced.

In addition, to prevent crowds around the track, all parking areas will remain closed around the Nordschleife, as in recent weeks. The Nürburgring is also urgently appealing to visitors via its channels to abide by the rules at all times, even outside the race track.
