Matthew Weaver started out studying Transport Design at Coventry University.

The new man at the helm began his career at Nissan in 2001, and in his last role as director of the Nissan Design Studio in London, he played a leading role in the development of the current generations of the Qashqai and Juke and was responsible for the design of various Infiniti models.

Successful launch of the Juke
Matthew Weaver studied Transport Design at Coventry University and then completed a Master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London. Before joining Nissan, he already worked for other automotive brands.

Design centers around the world
Nissan Design Europe was established in London in 2003 and is one of four regional design centers managed from the global site in Atsugi, near Tokyo. Other regional design centers are located in San Diego, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.
