In contrast to previous years, there is no longer an internal racing car exhibition. Anyone who wants to and has the space to do so can show off their sporting prowess on their stand. The currently most successful vehicle with a Swiss connection is on the Porsche stand. The Germans won the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the World Endurance Championship title in 2015 and 2016 with the 919 Hybrid. Although Neel Jani still wears start number 2 on his car, he will also be aiming for the drivers' world championship title on November 19 in Bahrain after his triumph at Le Mans.

Interviews and autograph sessions with Audi works drivers
Marcel Fässler will be the most prominent motorsport driver at Auto Zürich 2016. The three-time Le Mans winner will be giving a short interview on the show stage in Hall 5 at 2 pm on Saturday. The question of what his future will look like after Audi's withdrawal from the World Endurance Championship will undoubtedly be asked - everyone is looking forward to his answer. Afterwards, he will be available to sign autographs at the TCS stand. Another Swiss Audi works driver, Nico Müller, will be a guest on Friday. The Bernese will give a short interview at 3:30 pm before signing autographs at the Hankook stand - the official tire supplier of the DTM - until 4:45 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, the Swiss Racing Talents will meet on the show stage in Hall 5 from 3 pm, where racing pro Fredy Barth will ask them about their past racing season and plans for 2017.
