Models: Lancia Stratos is a winning type
THE BEST LITTLE The readers of the trade magazine Modell Fahrzeug have once again voted this year for what they consider to be the best and most beautiful new releases. Porsche was chosen as the model brand.
The Lancia Stratos from Minichamps in 1:87 scale is the cheapest winner this year with a retail price of around 22 Swiss francs. The most expensive model is currently the Mercedes SSK Trossi "Black Prince" from CMC in 1/18th scale with a retail price of just under 500 francs. Points were also awarded to the Toyota TS050 #8 from Spark for 33 francs in 1/87th scale.
The super model across all classes was the Mercedes O 317 Porsche racing transporter from CMR in 18x scale. It costs 300 francs.
True to original racing transporter with crew
This time, the innovation prize went to Brekina. The Black Forest company offers a Ferrari set for 100 francs in 1:87 scale, which includes a true-to-the-original racing transporter from the early 1960s as well as the "Sharknose" 156 F1 monoposto that won the Formula 1 World Championship at the time and a complete pit crew.
And last but not least: For the first time after ten consecutive victories by Mercedes-Benz, this time Porsche was chosen as the model brand that best implements and maintains the model car theme.
