Mobility wants to convert all 3120 vehicles to locally emission-free electric drive by 2030 at the latest, and the entire company is to be climate-neutral by 2040. The company is now taking a further step in this direction with 230 Toyota Yaris Hybrid.
Viktor Wyler, fleet manager at Mobility, says, "The compact Japanese are self-financed and the majority are used as replacements, but a small proportion are also used to supplement the fleet as a result of growth."
Low emission, spacious and affordable
According to Viktor Wyler, the Car of the Year 2021 has won through primarily thanks to its low CO2 emissions and convincing spaciousness.
Viktor Wyler: "Our vehicles should be as fuel-efficient as possible and easy to operate. The customer must immediately feel at home in the vehicle. In addition, the small car is richly equipped. And of course the business requirements must also be right."
One of the safest models in the class
The Toyota Yaris Hybrid is in use throughout Switzerland for 4.5 years or 85,000 kilometers. Service and repair work is handled by Toyota's after-sales organization.
Viktor Wyler: "The cooperation with the importer is excellent."
According to various tests with the Toyota Safety Sense system, the small Japanese car is one of the safest small cars in the world.
