The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV leads the European sales statistics in its segment with more than 100,000 units sold. The all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid is also very popular in Switzerland. In October, it set a new sales record with 135 contracts. This means that there are already more than 2,000 owners of the electrified model launched in 2013 in our country. The Outlander's drivetrain combines two powerful electric motors (60 kW/82 hp at the front, 70 kW/95 hp at the rear), a 2.4-liter petrol engine (135 hp) and all-wheel drive technology that has been tried and tested in racing.
New edition with more power
The latest generation of the Outlander has been in dealerships since October. It is available in four equipment variants, with a starting price of 39900 francs. All Mitsubishi models come with a manufacturer's warranty of five years or 100,000 kilometers. The warranty period for the battery is eight years or 160,000 kilometers. Bernd Hoch, Managing Director of MM Automobile Schweiz AG, is delighted: "Mitsubishi achieved double-digit growth for the tenth month in a row this year and achieved a market share of two percent in October."
