Marc Langenbrink, CEO Mercedes-Benz Switzerland: "The MB Zug dealership sets new standards as a car boutique. It meets the most modern standards in brand architecture, showroom design, consulting and sales processes. It is the first of its kind in Switzerland and is regarded as an example of our retail concept."
Investment of 40 million Swiss francs
The initiator and investor is a Canadian. Mike Alkier, one of the best dealers in Canada, moved to Switzerland with his family and invested 40 million Swiss francs in MB Zug: "The Zug region is interesting for me to launch a new generation of car boutique. I'm looking forward to selling cars in a way that fits the technical developments." Joining him in Switzerland is Justin Nesbitt, who runs the business with 80 employees.
And it goes on: In spring 2019, Mike Alkier will also open the location in Immensee near Küssnacht am Rigi. Get to know the team on page 38.
