Mercedes: Manual work for the AMG One 🎥
SCREW FOR SCREW The 3.3-million-euro hypercar with V6 and four electric motors from Mercedes-AMG is built by hand. 1063 hp ensure a top speed of 352 km/h.
The hypercar will be produced in Coventry, England, in collaboration with manufacturing partner Multimatic in a small series of 275 units. The hybrid drive system based on Formula 1 technology consists of a 1.6-liter V6 turbo and four electric motors.
Up to 200 km/h in seven seconds
The plug-in hypercar has a system output of 1063 hp (782 kW), with which the AMG One accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. It reaches 200 km/h after seven seconds and 300 km/h in 15.6 seconds. The top speed is governed.
Transport protection in closed truck
Assembly is carried out by hand at a total of 16 stations. At the end, a factory test driver takes each car to a nearby proving ground.
After approval, each One is transported in a closed truck to the Mercedes AMG headquarters in Affalterbach. There, customers are instructed in the technology of the hypercar before the vehicle is handed over. The first deliveries will take place before the end of the year.
