CES
The Swiss market launch of the Mercedes CLA is scheduled for May 2019. Prices are still open.

The world premiere of the Mercedes-Benz CLA was still classic, the US premiere of the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz EQC was more forward-looking, and the Vision Urbanetic mobility concept was revolutionary.

Most emotional vehicle in its class
With its further developed MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, the Mercedes-Benz CLA has technology on board that was unveiled at CES in 2018 and has since gained additional functions.
This makes the Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé not only the most emotional vehicle in its class, but also a highly intelligent one: from the MBUX Interior Assistant, which recognizes operating wishes based on movements and endows the interior with intelligence, to Augumented Reality for navigation and the understanding of indirect voice commands, to the Energizing Coach with individual fitness recommendations, the new CLA offers a wide range of features.

Battery electric model EQ with 408 hp
The Mercedes-Benz EQC is celebrating its US premiere - the first purely battery-electric series-production model from the Stuttgart-based carmaker with one electric motor each on the front and rear axles with a combined output of 408 hp (300 kW) and a range of over 450 kilometers. The SUV made one of its first public appearances at the Formula E race in Zurich.

Mobility concept according to needs and budget
Also on show for the first time in the USA is Vision Urbanetic, a cost-adjusted concept for on-demand, efficient and sustainable mobility. The concept is based on an autonomously driving, electrically powered chassis that can carry superstructures for passenger or freight transport. The applied concept is intended to reduce traffic flows and relieve inner-city infrastructures.
