The 14th edition of the Fleetboard Drivers' League once again aimed to determine the world's best truck drivers. A total of 23,569 drivers and 692 fleets from 19 countries took part in the global competition to win the trophy for the most efficient driving style. They were all on the road with Fleetboard telematics equipment on board their trucks. In the challenging competition, which was held under the motto "Drive. Duel. Win", not only the best drivers but also the best fleets were determined.
Motivation boost for the drivers
"The aim of the Fleetboard Drivers' League is to provide a sustainable motivation boost for drivers, which serves both the economy and the environmental balance," explains Roberto Sagace, Team Leader Fleetboard at Mercedes-Benz Schweiz AG. "The newly introduced, country-based and cross-fleet drivers' championship makes the competition even more attractive."
The winner was the team from China, followed by Germany and Hungary. "These are all outstanding results, but I must also highlight the Swiss performance at this point. With an overall score of 9.782, Switzerland achieved fourth place. Daniel Robert Orban from Sieber Transport AG took first place in the Swiss team driver ranking.
