As a new feature in the driving programs, the CLA 35 4Matic has "AMG Dynamics".
The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces 306 hp, which is distributed to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. The world premiere will take place at New York International Auto Show (April 19-29, 2019).
Radiator grille as detection
The new radiator grille with the classic double louvers and the AMG Line front apron with flics on the air intakes, on the other hand, are distinctive features of the CLA 35 4Matic, as are the silver chrome trim elements on the louvers in the outer air intakes.
The rear apron with new diffuser insert, the small tear-off edge on the trunk lid and the two round tailpipe trims on the left and right dominate.
Touch control buttons on the steering wheel
The AMG-specific center console in piano lacquer look with standard touchpad contains additional switches that can be used to control the ESP, transmission mode and adjustable damping functions. The integrated touch control buttons on the steering wheel, already familiar from other model series, are new.
The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is based on the M 260 four-cylinder powerplant in the new A-Class. The driving experience includes spontaneous responsiveness, powerful pulling power (400 Newton meters of maximum torque from 3,000 rpm) and the throaty engine sound.
Colors signal the best time

In addition, lap and sector times are displayed, as well as the difference to the reference time in each case. Because certain display elements light up in green or red, the driver can see out of the corner of his eye, without reading off numbers, whether he is currently faster or slower than the
